Folkloristische kinderdansvereniging De Korenbleumkes   Almelo              The folklore children dancing group “De Korenbleumkes”  -the little cornflowers- comes from the town of Almelo. The dancing group is part of the folklore association “De Korenaer” -Ear of corn- and was founded on March 1st  1991. The children at the age of 4 till 8 years old are dressed in the so-called everyday costume which dates from the twenties of the last century. They dance in their white little clogs mainly old Dutch children-dances and singing-games. Accompanied by  accordionists the group performs successfully.
